Dr. Caroline Hong

Asian born, Dr Caroline Hong has lived and worked in Australia for over 30 years.
She has a deep understanding of Australia in the Asian Century. Caroline has held many senior appointments including Ambassador, CEO, Chairman, Advisory Board and company director roles, in the private, government, charity and not-for-profit sectors. Caroline‘s experience extends across business, dentistry, healthcare, government, community, business events and not-for profit sectors.
Caroline joined the board in April 2015.
Caroline holds three tertiary qualifications from the University of Adelaide, University of South Australia and the University of New South Wales. She is also an experienced company director and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Caroline runs her own consulting business, CH Asia Australia, connecting international business and investment projects, advising on Australia-Asia cultural and business issues, speaking at major events, writing as a regular columnist on business topics and traveling for business development and advisory opportunities.
Caroline is very active in the Australia-Asia and Australia-China community. She is an Honorary Adviser of the Australian Malaysian Singaporean Association, Member of the SME Committee of the Australia China Business Council. Dr Hong also supports several charities including the St Vincent’s Clinic Foundation for medical research and the Vinnies CEO Sleepout Charity for homeless services.
